Saved at the age of 8, Chris:

• Grew up in a Christian home, went off to Baptist Bible College in 1979, and graduated with a BA in Missions in 1983.
• Worked at the South Dade Baptist Church as an associate from 1983 to 1990, was approved as a BBF missionary to Singapore in September 1990, raised the necessary support, and arrived in Singapore in 1992.
• Worked one year at the Heritage Baptist Church with another missionary and saw the church grow from 30 to 60 during the year.
• Enrolled in the University to learn Chinese.
• Started a home Bible study the second year and saw several neighbors come to know the Lord as their Saviour.
• During 3rd & 4th year on the field, began pastoring the Singapore Bible Baptist Church.
