Killing Fields Memorial
Several miles from our house, this area is called "the
killing fields." Between 1975 and 1979 between 1.5
and 2.5 million Cambodians were wiped out in the Communist
Khmer Rouge era of genocide. These skulls are just a
sampling of the bones and skulls recovered from the many "killing
fields" across Cambodia.
