During the summer of 2000 we were able to have
two combined youth activities with Taya Bible Baptist Church and the
Lighthouse Baptist Church young people.
Year 2000 summer youth camp was
held in the southern part of Taiwan in Kaoshiung County. We were blessed
to have Nathan Lio, from the Taya Bible Baptist Church, accept Christ as
his Saviour at youth camp this year.
Ryan Chun, Mark Yo, and Tommy
Jiang are three of our young men at the Taya Bible Baptist Church who
have started to sing and play special music for our services. To see
them grow in the Lord has been a tremendous encouragement.
What a blessing it was to be a
part of God's work at the Taya Bible Baptist Church year 2000 Vacation
Bible School! We had a record attendance of 46 with 17 praying to
receive Christ as Savior.
The children's Sunday School at
the Taya Bible Baptist Church now has a consistent core of kids who come
every week.
