Dave accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour at the age of 10 during a revival at First Baptist Church of Gautier, Mississippi.  He was led to the Lord by men who visited his family home and then shortly thereafter followed the Lord in believer's baptism.

Terri, at 15 years of age, accepted Christ while a patient in the Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.  She was led to the Lord by the pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Gautier, MS.  Some years later she was baptized at the Lanakila Baptist Church in Waipahu, HI.

CALL TO THE MINISTRY
While stationed in the military at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, Dave and Terri attended Lanakila Baptist Church under the ministry of Dr. Don Stone. Here the Lord began to impress upon Dave's heart the need to surrender to full time Christian Service.  He soon surrendered to do whatever the Lord would have him do. Shortly thereafter, Dave surrendered to the Lord's call into full time Christian service as a missionary.  Later, while attending Baptist Bible College, and under the ministry of Dr. W.E. Dowell, he surrendered to God's call to take the gospel to the Chinese people.

After graduating from Baptist Bible College,  Dave became the associate pastor of the Bible Baptist Church of Everett, WA under the ministry of Pastor Ron Storz.

Then in May of 1988, the Greens were sent out of the Bible Baptist Church of Everett and approved by the Baptist Bible Fellowship International to be missionaries to the Chinese people in Taiwan.  They have served in Taiwan since 1990.

CHILDREN
The Greens have two children, David and Karen who both have surrendered to serve the Lord.  David is married to the former Cherie Patterson.  David and his wife, Cherie, are both graduates of Baptist Bible College and are serving God as missionaries to the Chinese people.  David and Cherie are presently serving in Taiwan with us!  We are blessed of the Lord that David and Cherie have three children .  Davey was born on November 14th of 2001.  Josiah was born November 29, 2003.  The newest addition was born March 3, 2006 a daughter--Charis Joy!  Click here to see their web site.

Our daughter Karen is also a graduate of Baptist Bible College.  Karen and her husband, Luke Williams are faithfully serving the Lord and live in Florida.  They have a daughter--Camryn who was born February 10, 2004 and a son Grant born on August 4, 2007.
