Our mail correspondence enrollment is increasing. We have a young man in prison here in town that begun doing lessons and we now have several that have begun inside the prison walls. This makes four prisons within Thailand that we have lessons going into on a regular basis. We are so thankful that one of our Thai men has taken charge of grading, posting, and sending out new lessons to our students.
Our radio program is still in production. I was able to make my first broadcast this first Sunday afternoon of September. It was a bit difficult since it had been seven months or so since I have made a live broadcast. We do reach out into at least three (3) provinces of the northeast of Thailand. We are talking about 2,000,000 people or more that are able to listen to our program. We would like to purchase some sound equipment to make good quality tapes to play over the radio waves rather than me having to go out each week. We have a Thai preacher that has volunteered to do our tapes if we had the equipment for him to make the tapes.
Our ministry has taken on a Thai man and his wife and their new ministry north of us about 3 hours. They have moved into a new province, for Independent Baptist works, and is starting a church there. We are now helping them with their basic needs of rent and food. We are asking that you pray for them as they are planting a church in northeastern Thailand. IF you do not help us on a regular basis, we ask that you pray about taking on the ministry here in northeastern part of Thailand as an outreach of your church ministry or personal ministry reaching out to the world.
We have received, from you, for the months of July and August the following amounts. We are very thankful for all you do to help the Catlin family while we are here in Thailand reaching Thais for Christ.
