The property is large enough; we may build a small building on it for Neighborhood Kid's Club and even use it for inviting people in to hear the Word of God during the week. It is located in a nice neighborhood (subdivision filled with Thai families).
Debbie would love to have a "home" that we can call "our home." It will have a kitchen I will build to her specifications. She needs it and she deserves it. (I think many of the wives will understand this.) Fourteen years without our own home is long enough.
We feed that this will be a good investment also. As the US dollar is good against the Thai baht at this time, the price¾about 1,600,000 baht, or about $45,000 US¾is much less than the $64,000 it would have been four years ago. We have applied for a House Project Offering (H-8720-1) with the Baptist Bible Fellowship office in Springfield, Missouri. If you feel a desire to help with this great need of ours, we ask that you designate your gift for our house project offering and have your home church send it to the Missions Office; they will deposit it into that specific account.
