  News Letter Update

October 7, 2006

Hello to everyone,

Well the typhoon knocked out our power for 8 days. From the 28th of September until October the 5th. This will sound crazy but I was most distressed at losing the few containers of cool whip I had been able to find and was saving for Thanksgiving. As I poured it down the sink I thought how much the kids would have enjoyed it-- so no more saving, when I find it we will enjoy it as a gift from God then--you never know what tomorrow will bring! I will pray that I find some more at Thanksgiving! Have Roger tell you in person the funny story about when we took our raw meat and gave it to the squatter kids (we couldn't eat it all when it defrosted).

Ok travel information for Roger and Samuel for Missions Conference at ABBC in Gladstone, Missouri. They leave here on Oct 17th and because of the time difference (we are ahead of you all) will arrive the same day. Arrival is at KCI on Tuesday, October 17th at 2:50 in the afternoon. They will be coming in from Minneapolis/St. Paul on flight number NW 1529. The whole sequence is:

NW0020 from Manila at 8:05 am to Tokyo Narita arrive 1:20 in the afternoon 10/17

NW0020 from Tokyo 3:25 p.m. to Min/St Paul arriving 12:05 in the afternoon 10/17 (they get to live that day twice!)

NW 1529 from Min/St. Paul leaving 1:25 and arriving at 2:51 in KC.

They are both very excited as am I for them. I remember how I felt as I prepared to come and see familiar faces.

Pray for Samuel to get all his homework assignments done before he leaves as he will miss 15 days of school (just started fall break here so he has time to do it this next week). Pray for Roger to get things squared away here and to prepare for things on your side of the ocean.

Love ya all, Tammy

Pray for us!
Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.  2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
