Dear Friends
All about us:
Don't you just love moving? Well it took quite some time,
but we have moved for the third time since our arrival here in
Manila. Praise God for His provision! Amidst all that the BBC of
Asia started up in June with 330 new students and Roger has
begun teaching again. Tammy will be teaching 7th grade Bible at
Faith Academy starting this August (this cuts costs for all the
BBFI missionaries whose children attend Faith).
Keep
praying for: 1.) Leadership training at Antioch
Baptist Church so we can continue to reach lost people. 2.)
Financial needs which grow for us as the Dollar to Piso rate
continues to drop. 3.) For our 4 children as they prepare to
start school Aug. 14th at Faith Academy. 4.) Our son Jon in the
US Navy. 5.) Together with BBFI missionary Greg Lyons we
have started the church planting process in Makati, pray for the
team efforts of Community Baptist Church / Makati.
Exciting
events: 1.) "X-Men" Camp participation was at
an all time high of 37,936 campers, with 13,185 saved and 3,578
baptized at camp! 2.) Doing ministry with the groups
from Antioch Bible Baptist Church and Overland Park Baptist
Temple that came this summer. What a blessing to work side by
side! 3.) For the growing response to our Saturday night service
and the youth that are attending.
Rest
of our needs: 1.) We need you to come minister
with us! Come see God work first hand. Let's talk about
you and a short term mission trip 2.) We need a vehicle for our
church ministry - pray with us the Lord would provide $2000-
$2500 3.) 2 tires for my van - $150. 4.) We are in need of a new
laptop computer for our ministry -$1000.
Sing
praise to God: 1.) For our new
house which really feels likes "home". Located in the hills and
abounding with fruit trees, this house is a haven away from the
polluted urban city. 2.) For finding someone to rent the guest
room in our house to help subsidize our rent. 3.) For extra
financial help from Antioch to make our move easier. "But my
God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory
by Christ Jesus." Phil. 4: 19
